ME debating myself to get a perfect purple lipstick … hundred times … ahhh not hundred but yeah a couple of times , coz I have quite a few purple outfits to go with that … do I match my lipstick with tops ?? NOOOO but i remember once a beautiful MUA appreciated me for a fuchsia lipstick and that time I was wearing Fuchsia top and I promptly replied ohh I matched this top with the lippi .. she replied do you match a purple top with purple lippi …. NO was my answer but actually I do match sometimes.. when I am in a crazy mood I do match … thank fully no yellows for me here .. enough of yellow eyeshadow
But yeah I was looking for a nice pinky purple shade to go with some outfits and mainly the reason I didn’t had any nice neutral purple in good finish or say my favourite finish “Amplified Cream” … and then searching a lot I ended up buying this with lot of confusion but thankfully I am using this a lot and you might have noticed this color in my looks , Its MAC’s Up The AMP Lipstick
The colors does look very bright in tube but when applied it gives nice pinky purple lips , the pigmentation is extremely good and it stays on long , I love the finish and I am sure I would have not get this type of look in any other finish , I do have a purple lipstick in frost but it just makes my face looks washed out
I am NC35 and it suits my skin perfectly , other purple shade from MAC is Creme de la Femme , I still have to try that 3 – 4 times and then may be I will get that as well ,but for now this is just perfect Lilac color for me
I love to apply MAC’s Cultured Lipglass over this but the color can be worn alone , looks fab with nice smokey eye looks and is perfect for any time of day, It just brightens up my face and I hardly need anything to work with this , the lipstick color is good enough to work alone for me
you can see with the swatch how pigmented the color is , there is no shimmer and glitter in it just the slight sheen , stays on long and leaves nice pink tint to lips , the color is very opaque and leans towards violet pink
and now one more deep purple violet lipstick is coming round and round in front of me .. its MAC’s Violetta from Venamous villaines collection , its a pro shade and is released in this collection .. i know i would never be able to carry that color so I will just dream about that and leave it all you beautiful ladies full of confidence who carries the dark colors so well …
