I recently came across this brand when lovely Zara told me about the offer going on Brandmile ( an online store) and here is what I picked as this was the first time I didn’t purchased much only picked 2 things that caught my attention and its their Blush and Eyeshadow
Apart from these 2 there is some more too ….
Powder eyeshadow in Purple Funk – A Rich Purple color with very creamy texture
Powder Blush in DUSK – Vibrant Coral color with soft satiny texture and matte finish
And hubby picked this for my b’day , although its gonna take a while to reach here but still am already grinning
This month we were very busy as my parents were here and then some friends visited so didn’t had time to talk about gift and all and 5 days back we were sitting with our laptops and he said “what do you want ??” I immediately opened online store and started surfing … he then said “how is this ??” and I turned my face and saw “A digital camera ” … GOD I looked at him for 2 min as this is the first time he selected my gift coz its always me who selects and he pays but this time he made an effort to select my gift and moreover he knew how badly I needed a good camera …. I am out of words and waiting eagerly for this awesome gift by hubs …
oh that’s an awesome and extremely thoughtful gift.

iNuovi…that purple e/s does look buttery n pretty saturated…but in comparison the blush looks a bit chalky…is it?

Rashmi, what is the camera u’r currently using? Do u use various lenses for u’r close-up shots or just the std one?
Isha am using Sony Cybershot H10 … its serving my purpose .. i dont use extra lenses however there is option for that as well …
you think the pics are okay ?? i mean are the colors visible ??
Rashmi…i think u’r current photos are amongst the best. For a breakdown of my feedback u’r zoomed in eye shots are great, so are product shots n overall face shots – tho in the latter depending on the light sometimes u’r blush is not visible/ and the full effect of u’r e/s falls flat. e.g caught in the act courtney – first face shot u can clearly see the colour depth of u’r eye look, but second shot it looks like a single muddy hue…not so much u’r camera as the lighting i guess. Just my 2 cents…but hey i’m not photo expert.
ohh yeah i so agree with you on this and am glad you made me realize where i was going wrong …
will keep some pointers in mind and do request you to let me know if you find anything which is not up to the mark …

The purple e/s looks so gorgeously pigmented..and its such a vivid color na? Hows the Dusk shade? It looks really pretty but doesnt seem to be as pigmented as the e/s..Now I cant wait for my stuff to arrive..M getting more impatient after seeing Dusk..hehe
So sweet of ur hubby to choose ur gift…The fact that he is so considerate to think of wot u need is really nice. Do let me know how the camera turns out after u get it. I’ve been wanting to get a SLR for my hubby as a surprise, but m so confused since m not aware of what features are essential and what to look for in a SLR..

btw, wanted t ask u have u ever tries mac lipgloss in orange descence? would u suggest it as a gud coral shade? I was looking for crystal coral from EL and a friend mentioned that the mac one is also pretty..so m a bit confused now..what wud u recommend?
estee lauder crystal coral is for 1500/- i would def. say wait for some sale if there is any and as far as mac orange descene … i have no idea about that ..

i understand… my dslr was picked by hubs too… so i can relate to the emotions…. its a wonderful gift nevertheless and i am sure u’d enjoy it… a dslr is way better than a point and shoot and once you get started down this path, you just wont want to turn back…. and you do take good pictures, they will only get better with the new cam… o god, mention a camera and i start babbling!!!

Your point and shoot is also Sony na? They are the BEST! you want to s.t.u.d.y the features? Good idea, but start playing! you’ll learn loads by reading the manual, clicking the picks and observing the difference… and tap the internet for things like Digital Photography School or Dpreview.com
