As I was going through green eye shadows recommendation online I happen to spot this shade on makeupgeek.com which was looking awesome in pan and as I had already used their brushes I was tempted to pick this in my last trip to Mumbai.
Ben Nye is available in New Beauty Centre, Khar in Mumbai and they give 15% off so I thought why not give this a shot. The pigment was priced at 650/- INR and came for 550/- INR which was not bad at all considering the size of the pan.
As I always do my homework I didn’t took much time and picked this but looked around for more green pigments from Ben Nye , SA showed me 3 more shades but some of them were sheer and one was way too chunky with silver glitters , so chucked the idea of picking any other color and only purchased this .
The color is wonderful lime green with hint of gold , it does look very pigmented but when applied dry it doesn’t provide much color but when foiled it gives nice vibrant green color.
The pan has huge sifter with square holes and let me warn you, please don’t take out whole plastic as you might end up spoiling your pan with pigment all over. Take out little plastic and tap the pigment on cap and use it like that only.
I would be doing EOTD with this color but as it was lying for so many days thought of sharing some pics with you.
I didn’t knew much about the brand but when Neeraj mentioned I goggled and found out that this is meant for stage artist and when I saw this on http://www.makeupgeek.com I was convinced to pick this and am going to review my first purchase from this wonderful Brand and that was Blending Brush , which is super awesome. I am not happy with the price range but guess that’s the usual scene in India when you look for International Brands.
Have you heard about this brand and their vast colorful collection ??
