One of my very first MAC Pinks and recommendation came from my lovely mentor , I tried the color in store but was little skeptical and as there were not too many medium pink I thought of giving this a shot and the thing is I knew I would never go wrong with her reccos.
Mac’s permanent line of pink lipsticks is so versatile and you will end up buying a handful if you never control. MAC Bombshell is described as Bright rosy-pink with shimmer (Frost Finish). Frost finish makes lipstick little more complicated to wear but this one is quite different from regular frost which makes lips dry and glittery , although this has nice golden shimmer but the lipstick is very much wearable.
Bombshell is cool toned pink with strong purple undertones but the golden shimmer in it gives it warmer feel , this definitely is a neutral toned lipstick in my dictionary.
When I purchased this I didn’t knew about frost finishes but am glad this isn’t like other lipsticks I own which are so very difficult to wear without a gloss , Bombshell can be worn alone as it doesn’t dry out my lips and I never find any need of lip gloss over this due to nice golden shimmer in it. It doesn’t stay too long on lips as the lipstick is on sheer side, wears off within 3 hrs and then there isn’t visible tint, that’s the only con I could find out for this lovely pink which will make you feel and look girly.
I have Ponds TM and MAC Studio Fix Powder in NC 41 on my face , I tried the foundation in store and when I came back just thought of taking some pics as there was ample natural light , I do think am not looking at my best in the pic as the color is little washed out. I do want to know how you liked the base makeup here??
Bombshell is one the best looking and more wearable shades of medium pink which will suit of most of Indian skin tones, you can go with Smokey eyes or wear this with simple liner , this is going to make your face bright and full of life. Am sure you will definitely try this when you are in MAC and hey don’t forget to share how did the color appealed to you? The name is so apt for this lovely pink what say??
