Please don’t get me wrong , it’s not NARS pouring here , as you all know I had to complete so many reviews for the products I had already posted in my “PREVIEW” section , here is one more awesome stuff from Cult Favorite Brand , its NARS Night Porter Eye shadow.
NIGHT Porter is part of NARS Night Series Collection, its lovely green eye shadow with black base and fine emerald green pearly sheen to it. The shimmer is not chalky or chunky it is certainly finely milled and looks beautiful when paired with warm colors. The color is beautiful Smokey emerald green with a hint of gold in it.
I love pairing this with my all time favorite MAC Lucky Green it is one of the best color combinations I have seen. Texture of the eye shadow is very fine but there is little fall out which can be ignored, the application is smooth and it blends wonderfully with other colors. There is no creasing and fading with this shade and it stays well for hrs , I do use primer underneath for best results.
The color is definitely one my most favorite and I can vouch on this being the most unique shade of Blackened Green I have ever seen. My stash for Smokey eye shadows is complete with this green.
You can see some more pictures and swatch H E R E .
And here is simple smokey eyes I did with this , Applied MAC Blacktrack Fluidline all over the lids and then applied this all over the lid and in the crease , MAC Soft Brown to soften the crease and NARS Silent Night to highlight brow bone and inner tear duct. Applied MUFE Kohl in 6 K on lower water line and upper lash line , patted NARS Night Porter on lower lash line and smudged on upper lash line .
I hope I could do justice to the green micro shimmer in eyeshadow ??
Do I recommend: NARS Eye shadows are a hit or a miss, my Night Series Night Porter is a big hit with me in terms of quality, color and pigmentation. If you are looking for easy no fuss, fail proof eye shadow for Smokey eyes do try this and am sure you will never get back to any other smoky color. This is a good no brainier shade for me and I highly recommend this.
