ILLAMASQUA WELT Lipstick is described as Deep magenta pink with matte finish . I picked this few days back during some sale I guess . WELT to me is , muted Fuchsia shade with strong blue undertones and subtle sheen to it . It says matte but the color is not at all drying unlike some shades I have tried in past and which actually scream MATTE .
WELT is less intense version of ILLAMASQUA’s Atomic which is my ULTIMATE favorite from the brand . There is subtle bluish silvery sheen to it which is not very prominent and lends a beautiful dimension to the matte lipstick , same like ATOMIC but in more subtle way .WELT is a safer way to wear Fuchsia pink as it is so easy to wear kinds and blends well with my warm skin tone although the color is cool toned , I have no issues on how it looks on me .
It is very creamy and so damn pigmented , I recommend using a lip brush for creamy pigmented shades like this to get even coverage , however I have used this directly from the tube . It is opaque in one layer and you don’t need to add layers the lipstick to get the shade what you see in tube . It stays for 5 + hrs on my lips without any lip liner or gloss , there is no dryness and flakiness afterwards. I do keep my lips well moisturized as soon as I step out of bath to prepare them for matte lipstick ( if am planning to wear ) .
They are priced at £15.50 or $ 22 + Tax for .14 oz and are housed in square black tube which I absolutely adore .
And this is how the color looks on me : I have ILLAMASQUA SKIN BASE FOUNDATION # 11 on my face with MAC NW 30 Select Cover up Concealer :

I didn’t used any brush , applied directly with tube with light hand : I know you guys are thinking how DIVINE looks like on its own ?? I will post a review for that and an interesting video too …
