I wanted to try this ever since I saw a youtube video by Lisa Eldridge , but not sure about the product as there were not enough reviews for this lip pencil … but after My Friend’s Post HERE , I picked this then and there and didn’t waited for any sale . I knew the only color I want to try out is the same used by Lisa Eldridge in her Video … REDDDDD ….
# 21 is cool toned Cherry Red shade with pink undertones to it … as it is matte , the pencil packs good amount of pigment and is awesome if you are looking for a long staying lip color . This stay good for 5 + hrs on my lips and still I can see a tint on my lips … it does dries out my lips a bit , but if I dab a teeny tiny balm just before applying this , it helps make my lips soft and glide the lip pencil easily . I find this working equally good with lipstick on top or this as a lip color .. either ways they are good and have good staying power .
AS far as shade is concerned , the color will suit most of the skin tones even if it is cool toned , it is not exceptionally blue based and will be a good option if you want to make your red lipstick stay a little longer .
It says “Matte Lip Pencil “ but , it is more like a matte lipstick and that’s why it is listed under lipsticks on their online site . I have not tried Matte Lipsticks from every brand as the only matte lipstick I adore are MAC , but this one was total surprise for me and no wonder you will feel the same once you try these .
The texture is really awesome , it layers very thin and evenly on my lips , provided they are well moisturized and hydrated . I wouldn’t mind spending more on these even without any sale .. they are certainly must have from INGLOT and I am sure , if the next sale happens soon this is the only lip product you will find me hoarding . But , again as I said they are worth every penny even without any discount . You get 4.5 gms of product for 680/- INR , they need to be sharpened and this is where you loose some product but if you have a good sharpener then that should not be a problem .
