You guys have always loved me in my “RED’s” but I always crave for that PURRRFECTTT “N” Lips for me and for that I picked handful of shade and my favorite amongst those are “HUG ME” and VELVET TEDDY” . Later being handy choice as it stays little longer due to matte finish but then it takes life out of my face (as I always say) , which is common problem with matte finish lipsticks . For me , the more juicer lips you sport the more attention they grab and that’s why combining lipstick with lipgloss is one of the best things I can do .
After hearing this time and again that am using lip liners I actually started using lip liners and no I am not complaining , I always maintain MAC Gel liners , Blushes , Eyeshadow , Brushes , Lipsticks are best but their lip liners are equally good and here is one unconventional color which I already reviewed (Read My Review Here ) I am talking about MAC Stone lip Liner , it is taupe shade and is little cool toned , there is no redness in it which makes it perfect choice to neutralize any discoloration on your lips . It makes them flat and you are ready to apply your nude lipstick and gets the color in full intensity.
MAC Velvet Teddy is warm pink beige color with a hint of sheen to it , it is not flat but the color when applied directly on my lips washes me out and I always need a gloss on top of this . When layered this lipstick over STONE Lip Pencil my lips get a perfect nude shade , there is no visible 2 tone lips as lip liner covers the pink and brown tones on my lips and I get to see even toned nude pink beige shade which is equally wearable with heavy smokey eyes .
To give life to my lips and face , I added a layer of MAC Fashion Fanatic Plushglass which is pale pink color and doesn’t add much color to my lipstick , just a glossy sheen , there is neither plumping effect … I just used the plush glass to make them look full of life and adding dimension to nude lips and at the same time making them look more fuller ( IMO) .
And this is how my lips look when I use MAC STONE Lip Pencil , it covers every bit of discoloration :
