I was trying one lip combo the other day with MAC BEET Lip Liner and MAC Russian Red Lipstick and tell you it was looking WOW .. so stunningly WOW … and then last night I was playing with my Lip Liner in CHERRY to boost my mood and applied Ruby Woo Lipstick on top … I again tried to fool hubby and asked .. is it RUSSIAN RED ?? Very politely he said .. NO !!! its not . I was amused and asked , okay tell me what is the difference ??
He then said ” Russian Red has that Glossiness and this is more matte and this looks more like pink based and that is more BLOOD RED ” , I couldn’t agree more and smiled , He again said , you know na matte and glossy , pink and blood red ??
I was like , yeahhh I know and you know this , that is more important . So , same question , this or Russian Red , and he said BOTH … Both are equally Good and I was like “Oh !!! OKAYYY ”
You already know my another favorite way of wearing RED LIPS - MAC Russian Red Lipstick Lipglass and Cherry Lip Pencil and you have seen it H E R E , I am still in thoughts Russian Red or Ruby Woo ??
Wearing here : MAC Cherry Lip Pencil which is ultimate Red Lip Pencil , MAC Ruby Woo Lipstick which is extremely dry cool toned Red Lipstick and must have lipstick for our skin tone to add that extra oomph and MAC Spring Bean Lustreglass which is sheer very light caramel shade lipglass with golden shimmer .
I am so in love with my MAC Lip Liners … glad I have 6 – 7 of them and this is THE RED you must own if you love red lip lips : MAC CHERRY Lip Pencil on my lips

Hi MAC guru …..i hv also purchased cherry lip liner.and m loving it.but its tip broke while i was trying to fill in my lips.dnt knw why.the tip is too soft.is it only mine or urs cherry lip liner is also soft? BTW i also liked Matte lips.a nd my hubby can also tell wen i do some experimente wid RussiAn red

Cherry is certainly veryyy soft … dont sharpen it too much otherwise it will break .. keep it in fridge before sharpening just for few min .. 5- 10

I love Ruby Woo! But I generally don’t use a lip liner underneath as I like the vividness of Ruby Woo to show through..
