The post was lying in drafts for so many days and while watching IIFA tonight I couldn’t stop myself from posting this then and there … and the reason is .. True Indian DIVA – REKHA ….I am always asked here and in mails about what color to choose for Rekha like lips and especially from Dr. Shilpa , (she keeps on asking me about the same lip color) while I was watching her today , she was sporting Matte Maroon Stained Lips and was looking OHH SOO STUNNINGGG as always … so here is a closer look at the color I would pick for Rekha like lips - MAC DIVA Lipstick .
While Priyanaka chopra was giving her performance dedicated to Rekha , I some how felt it wasn’t that great … Rekha is Rekha and no heroin can ever come close to her , no matter what … what say ??
MAC DIVA is hidden gems from brands permanent line and is amongst the best shades when you want to get that vampy look , you can use it as stain but I am surely going to use the color in full intensity in Fall … I am all set to wear this and have already plans some looks with it . DIVA is cool toned pink based deep wine berry color and has matte finish . It is extremely creamy unlike some matte which takes life out of my lips and face .
I highly recommend trying this color , it is one of the best shades MAC has to offer in terms of pigmentation , color and texture .
I have worn the lipstick as a stain H E R E but will show you full on power packed lips soon … I was so mesmerised by My Friends Post HERE , that I am actually digging wine colored lips in this season … who cares as long as you are confident enough .. right ??
Gosh, you won’t believe it.
I was watching HBO girls (a tv series) and in it, one of the characters pulls out a maroon mac lipstick and starts applying. I was thinking to myself that it has to be DIVA. ><

This colour is very bold colour..
I have similer shade from MAC it is MAC Full Body lipstick and don’t know why but somehow I avoid using that lipstick.. I feel its giving me too bold look.. Rekha like lips
But I guess now again i have to give a try to that lippi..
