MAC Peachykeen Blush is described as Very Baby Peach with Sheertone shimmer Finish , it is part of the permanent line . These are priced at 1350/- INR for 6 gms pan , where am not very fond of the packaging it is someway good to carry around as you can see the color from transparent plastic cap . The finish is something very important for me when I buy MAC Blushes and this is the one which excites me the most other then mattes . There are nearly 10 shades in this finish and now I have 9 of them , certainly a finish to loveeee ….
Coming back to color , it is not at all “PEACH” as the description says . It reads more pinky peachy shade with subtle glow , indeed golden shimmer in blush plays its role . Where , Springsheen is more like Coral Peach golden shade this is more on pink side and not the pink which is not wearable on my NC 4o skin tone … it is just the right amount of color needed for my medium to dark skin tone .
MAC Blushes are little stiff in texture and needs a bit of layering but then , it makes them foolproof , it is better to layer blush rather then going wrong in one swipe .
If you are looking for a shade which is warm toned , subtle pink and peach at the same time which acts like a highlighter this is meant for you . The shimmer is very fine and imparts a healthy glow , I wonder how come I ignored this for such a long time ??
Springsheen is said to be dupe for NARS “O” Blush but this is certainly the closest and best way to wear “O” .. IMO . The color is meant for our skin tone which is mostly tanned and needs a boost with a swipe of color . The shade will suit most of the skin tones but if you are above NC 45 this might not impress you … wait , I have one deadly bush for dusky skin girls in next post .
It looks very intimidating in pan and I have taken pictures in natural light and with flash .. but do swatch this when you visit your MAC next time .
And this is how the color looks on my NC 40 skin tone :
I hope you find the review helpful ??
