I really want to apologize for posting MAC posts almost every other day and in fact I wanted to make “August” as “NO MAC Reviews Month” but then , I still have so many things to share with you from MAC . But , from tomorrow onwards I will try and post less MAC reviews and share some other brands stuff as well …. not that I want to, but , its always good to balance out things .
Before I make such statements and start working on same , I wanted to share this color with you … MAC Sweet as Cocoa blush which is very famous for “Puurrfecttt Blush for Tan skin “ , I took a plunge and bought this and OH MY MY , What a Stunning shade it is …
SAC is described as “Brown with Pearl” with Sheertone shimmer finish , it looks like rich cocoa in pan but on cheeks the color is very subtle yet noticeable . It is more like warm toned bronzey brown brown shade with red undertones to it and very beautiful golden copper shimmer , which is very fine and doesn’t emphasis pores . The redness in this blush is very much prominent and it works like a blush and bronzer for medium to dark skin tone , without being orange I must add .
The blush stays for nearly 5 – 6 + hrs on me and shimmer fades after 4 hrs but the hint of color stays good . I have oily skin but have never faced any problem with any MAC blushes in terms of staying power .
I get so many queries ( okay, not that manyyy like other bloggers claim ) - for best suited color on NC 42 + skin tone and this is bang on the best shade I have came across in brown / bronze color family .If you are just beginning with MAC Blushes do pick ” Sheertone Shimmer” finish so that you don’t get disappointed . They are build-able and blend-able and lends amazing sheen to skin imparting healthy glow without going over the top .
If you are NC 40 ( like me) or above then please try this in store and am sure there will be no looking back , this is one of the most beautiful shades for our coloring and will suit you to “T” , in other words I wanted to say that it is suiting me so well !!
And this is how the blush looks on my NC 40 skin tone :
I hope you find the review helpful ?? Have you tried this shade from MAC Permanent line of blushes ??
