With cult favorite cosmetics to a lot of must have perfumes, Estee Lauder has always been on the map of beauty (commercial and controversial) to present a luxurious and avantegarde range of beauty and makeup products. Started by Estee Lauder herself,since 1946 the brand has bloomed into being a gigantic company. With ownership of Clinique, MAC and Bobbi Brown, Lauder company’s eponymous brand is no less behind with Tom Pecheux (International Creative Director) being at the helm. With Tom, the brand has seen another rising sun and again got a mesmerizing range of products in the market. With numerous awards for social work, in the beauty industry and being a pioneering brand for Breast Cancer Awareness, Estee Lauder is all about spelling luxury and making a woman feel special and stand out amongst the ordinary.
To write 7 products from this huge and famous brand was not easy. There are many many products that I have used and liked and have been buying them again and again, so pardon me if I do injustice to some products. I would write my 7 best products but also enlist some favorites in the miscellaneous section.
Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex -
You have to be from the neanderthal era if you do not know about this cult product. There is a fan following and this serum is one of the best selling serums of Estee Lauder all over the world. With a patented Chronolux TM technology complex in the product, it supports natural synchronization of skin’s repair and protection process. The serum helps in repairing all the damage caused by environmental aggressors, UV damage and pollution. What you see is a bright skin that glows from within. The facial skin is plumped, hydrated and one can see amazing visible differences with prolonged use. The versatility of its usage is so expanded that it can be incorporated not only as a skin care product (day and night although it says Advanced Night Repair) but also as into makeup. When applied under makeup or whether mixed with foundation, this serum is all about creating the perfect magical canvas one could need.
What it does is -
- repairs appearance of past damage and addresses visible damaging effects of environmental assaults before they become permanent.
- prevents future damage and add deeper level of hydration
The under eye cream completes the skin care and when I used it I just felt amazing.
Double Wear Stay in Place Range -
I literally put this franchise as one complete product mention. Under this name, Estee Lauder make the most long lasting and amazing products that are friendly to MUAs and amateurs alike. Ranging from their famous foundation ranges to eyeshadows and lipstick ranges, all those products are mesmerizing and my favorites. Their full coverage foundation is amazing to cover any flaws and give a full coverage for professional results. While the ’light’ version can be used for daily use for working women or someone who want a long lasting coverage but not look made up. The concealers are amazing for hiding under eye circles and brightening up. The eye liners whether pencil or liquid, are super pigmented and long lasting where as the cream eyeshadows could give MAC Paint pots a tough competition. The eyeshadow base is superior but really like a thick paste (one product from the range that I do not like).The compacts are luxurious in feel and are like foundation when it comes to fuller coverage where as the loose powder from the range is mineral enriched. The double wear mascara is my go to mascara all the time and it delivers fantastic lacquered looking lashes whenever I use. The lipsticks are creamy and long lasting and do not dry the lips at all. DOUBLE WEAR IS MY FAVORITE RANGE FOR BRIDES. I also suggest this range to people who need to apply makeup in the office or for flight attendants who have to be made up for the whole day. The formulas are long lasting, non drying and one of the best offerings in the industry.
Cyber metallic eyeshadows – gelee powder eyeshadow
This could be the most futuristic tribrid eyeshadows I have ever seen. Exclusively developed by makeup artist Tom Pecheux these metallic high watt shiny eyeshadows are a mix of powder, liquid and gel. So they are the softest to touch, glide like dream and give the most stunning results when used wet or dry. Can be applied with brush for a light wash or with fingers for haute shine. The color is velvety smooth, long lasting and blends very easily. They are yet to be launched in India and I am sure they will change our perception about metallic eyeshadows for sure.
Blending Shadow Brush 25
This is an answer to the famous MAC 217 brush by its own mother brand, Estee Lauder. I have this brush and I must say its one of the most versatile and ergonomic brushes I have seen. The brush is super fast and a hybrid between a dome brush and flat brush. I loved the technology that they used to make this brush so versatile. Its good for patting eyeshadow on the lid, apply crease colors and also for highlighting the brow bone.
Pure Color Lipgloss
Whether its is high shine or shimmery finish, nothing would beat these amazing long lasting glosses. The color spectrum is wide with nudes, neutrals, pinks, mauves, corals, reds and so many more colors within. My favorites are the shiny ones that add a lovely lacquered effect to the lips.
DayWear Sheer Tint Release Advanced Multi-protection Anti-oxidant Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 15
Although this has got only 3 stars on the website, this is one of my favorite tinted moisturizers I have ever seen. Its the best because it adapts to any skin tone and makes it look flawless and glowing. Its a wonderful base for a foundation (that can be applied sparingly then) and with a sunscreen and added anti-oxidants is a good companion for the day for anyone who doesn’t want too much of skin care. It also helps in repairing skin damage and alleviates dullness and fine lines. What enticed me the most was a soft and sweet cucumber like smell.
And the last one is a tie between Bronze Goddess Collection and Estee Lauder Pleasures perfume
It is so difficult to write the top 7 products of the brand that you love the most. Bronze goddess is one collection that I wait for all the while and even if they do not sell everything in India, I make a point to keep myself updated from the international sites and online shopping places like Strawberrynet.com.
Bronze Goddess collection is an array of products that are beach friendly and a great panacea to ban the wintry paleness. With a range consisting of sun screens, sun tan lotions, body oils to makeup products including everything from lips, cheeks, face and eyes, this is a collection one must not miss. The limited edition items are always breathtaking and could be aptly labelled as collector’s items.
Pleasures is the most amazing fragrance Estee Lauder has (according to me). While the Pour Femme is subtle and fresh with invigorating bouquet of peonies and lilies and jasmines and exotic Baie Rose, the Pour Homme is citrusy, woodsy, spicy and refreshingly masculine. I find this pair as a perfect combo of fresh smelling perfumes.
Also to mention are the gorgeous limited edition ranges designed by Monsieur Pecheux and the permanent products from Cyberwhite EX range that are truly phenomenal.
With so many groundbreaking inventions and patents, Estee Lauder is truly at the helm of the cosmetic world. Being one of the companies that is family owned and run, Estee Lauder made legends come true. Today with brands like MAC, Smashbox, Clinique, Estee Lauder, Jo Malone, Aramis, Bobbi Brown and so many more, they have always delivered prestigious products that are liked by makeup artists and women all over the world.

I picked some lipsticks and then gloss and got some pouches , mascara and pure color range lipstick with some eyeshadow palettes too .

This is a wonderful article and very well researched. Kudos Neeraj for the work! I’ve used a lot of Estee Lauder perfumes but haven’t tried their makeup and skincare. The Daywear tint is very tempting
