Estee Lauder The Siren Pure Color Powder Blush : Review and FOTD

estee lauder siren pure color blush review

I picked Estee Lauder pure colour blushes few months back and selected 2 bright and “MACY’s” Exclusive shades, however they are available at Estee Lauder online site. You can read my review for  ESTEE LAUDER Pure Color Blush NAUGHTY and today am sharing with you “THE SIREN”.

I am always excited to share my reviews with you but this time it is exact opposite. The shade is super gorgeous but now I am over with this bright blush phase and want to pick more neutral blushes for my skin tone. The Siren is bright raspberry pink shade with just enough luminous sheen to lift the shade and not making it look flat. The colour is particularly gorgeous on medium to dark skin tone, for lighter skin it would be little too much.

I get 6 + hrs of wear these and the fades evenly but you do need a very light hand to use these or best is a fan brush. They are not very creamy but have that little soft texture and it is likely to happen that your brush may pick a lot of colour in one go . It is advisable to use light tap before placing the colour on cheeks.

The blush is housed in golden case with good size mirror and a brush for touch ups. You get 6 Gms of blush and it retails for 2875/- INR. They are little expensive but worth the splurge as you hardly need any colour and it will last you ages.

On scale of 1 – 10, I would give this 10 – From shade to pigmentation to staying power and packaging, everything is so neat and perfect. If you love experimenting with your blushes then this may impress you, I don’t see myself reaching to this one as it is little too much for me ATM. I do like this and don’t find any con but my priorities have changed and so I feel this is not the right color for me although this is such a stunning shade for fall .

Picked up 99 pirate as I didn’t have any blue toned reds at that time. In foundation my shade is 20. Love vitalumiere. Medium coverage but gives a natural glow to the face. I have combination skin. Bourjois 10 hour sleep foundation is very similar to vitalumiere.
