HOURGLASS Ambient Lighting Blush Radiant Magenta Review & FOTD

hourglass radiant magenta blush (3)

When I first tried Hourglass blush last year I never knew I will be so hooked. I shared this shade in My Birthday Month HAUL POST and mentioned that I picked this in SEPHORA SALE and that made me proud owner of 3 blushes –  Diffused Heat ( READ REVIEW HERE ) LUMINOUS FLUSH ( See in action HERE) and Radiant Magenta . I’m absolutely smitten by these blushes, they may not be the most pigmented blush I tried so far but the presence of the highlighting powder in each shade makes them so unique.

The blushes are baked as you can see the marbled effect which is due to the ambient lighting powder and the blush shade , mixed together they create beautiful, subtle yet noticeable flush of colour.

I would not repeat the same words, you can read my initial review of DIFFUSED HEAT BLUSH – the blush has soft, smooth, creamy fine “BUT” powdery texture and for this shade I highly recommend you to build the shade rather than load the brush in one go as it is most pigmented of all .

Radiant Magenta is described as GOLDEN FUCHSIA, on my NC 40 skin tone it is warm toned medium pink shade with slight golden touch to it, it is just minute and lends a beautiful sheen to cheeks rather than colour. Due to presence of RADIANT LIGHT POWDER it looks very flattering on warm skin tone and can be worn as light as you want and built up to the extent that it will not look out of the place .

I have combination to oily skin and with finishing powder and good base makeup it stay nicely for 7 – 8 hrs and the sheen too remains the same with mild fading of colour evenly.

I can’t express in words how much I love this blush and can I share a secret? Shhhhhhhhhhhh, I picked 2 more this month and they will be here in August – seriously hooked!
