This was complete surprise for me, never intended to buy and not even asked hubby to pick anything from Bobbi Brown but on his way back to India in Jan’ 13 , he picked some Bobbi Brown stuff for me from duty free shop from SFO airport. I was thrilled to see the lipsticks he picked and was overwhelmed with his gesture. His main intention was to finish off the dollars he had… I wonder whyyy? But, anyways he sweetly picked some lipsticks for me and here is the first one – PINK.
After lusting for CHANEL BLUSH / JOUES Contraste, as they say… for almost 2 yrs, here is my first review for the colour I picked recently. Part of CHANEL Spring 2013 Collection, I wanted to pick the gloss in Marveille too but settled for just a blush. FRIVOLE is described as Luminous Apricot; it is medium – dark peachy orange shade with a tad bit of pink in it. It is warm toned blush and works really when on my skin tone , I do feel it does require a layer or two but then as the texture is finally milled it just blends in and doesn’t look powdery or chalky even if I layer for more intense colour – true to its pan kind .
Les Ombres Turandot Two matte and two iridescent textures are combined to perfection. Refined down to the slightest detail, the elegant golden case travels in a black suedette pouch with red topstitching.
Part of GUERLAIN Fall Collection, I picked this from PARCOS, Mall 1, Bangalore last month. Not sure if you can still get it … but if you can GET IT NOW! A heady mix of neutrals, I think it is very handy palette when you are not in a playful mood , the shades are easy to dupe but having 4 shades whcih are easy to work with is something I really loved in this palette .
I picked 2 of these few months back and as the colour was little too summery I thought of posting it now as the time is right to indulge in some fun and summery shades. REVLON SA at NBC Khar, Mumbai convinced me on this and the price was just fine , will be showing you other colour soon. 08 BEACH (125/- INR for 8 ml) is metallic lime green colour and has great coverage. It layers opaque in one coat however 2 coats makes it more metallic and the colour looks more vibrant.
