On Serious Note !!!

A Book Review from me??? How could you ever think that?? When am not able to review colors how come a book honey??

I have been reading quite a few books on makeup for past few days and as am little occupied with house shifting and baby’s admission for coming year I will be doing some basic looks from the book , yeah surprisingly all of them concentrate on beauty within rather than going heavy on makeup .

I mean not the look look kind of look but I will be writing some notes from the pro MUA books, I hope you enjoy the post and love to share your tips as well … the best part is all the looks are so easy to achieve without any fail . There are hundreds of looks and tips to share and that’s not all I will be sharing some more in-depth tips for skincare.

Please make sure I will not be writing DISCLAIMER all the time so don’t point out those silly things.

MACup Look : Festive Plummy Brown Eyes

I was trying hard to get MAC Paint pot in Artifact which is discontinued now . There isn’t any chance to get this as its out of stock everywhere , but then MUA at Koramangala MAC gave me a small sample of this and so I thought will try to do 2 – 3 looks with wonderful Plum Bronze color . MAC is launching a color like this in new LE collection so am little relieved ….

Paired Artifact with Browns and Plums , nothing super great about the look , its just another Plum Brown color but Artifact has made this little special.

And here is the final outcome , I paired pale lips with super shimmery plum brown eye look although Coral would have look equally beautiful …. IMO

Makeup Trends Spring 2011 – Look 1

SPRING is here and its time to shift from dark hues of Burgundy’s to more fiery shades of orange and golds … I am not predicting the color for the season but as I was going through some web pages noticed this trend of orange lips , orange liners , green and pink makeup , gold lips , so here I am trying to experiment with colors and lets see if it turns out worth a watch or should I move on to some more safer colors … like browns and nudes … of course writing a beauty blog and not experimenting ?? NAAHHHH A BIG TURN OFF right ?? so here I am with some experimentation lets see how you take this ??

For first look I am using Bright orange lips , I don’t have any high end Orange lipstick and as you know the color is very hard to carry so I thought I would better stick to the normal mass brand and here is me with Loreal Volcanic lipstick … If you have noticed in recent times … YSL , Estee Lauder and MAC are coming up with Bright Orange lipstick for this coming season .. so why stick to pink and peach why not try orange for change

Duo Color Look using Green eyeshadow

Hello friends hope your Monday is going good , mine is too busy , Diwali around the corner , so much to do and so little time… as usual i post once in a while and as baby is not going to school I would be posting very less … hmm that’s sad but ???

ahhh so here is my duo look using green eyeshadow and a black eyeshadow , you can replace Gold color if you are not happy with black effect
