FOTD – Benefit High Beam highlighter

High Beam
What it is:
A luminescent complexion enhancer.
.

What it does:
Benefit High Beam is an ethereal pink liquid highlighter that creates a radiantly dewy complexion. For an angelic sheen, this pink shimmering lotion adds a soft, natural afterglow.

What else you need to know:
It’s a “supermodel in a bottle…” and perfectly alluring on all skin tones

Size: 0.45 oz Price – $ 24 + Tax

The one I have is a part of holiday gift set .. and was gifted by my mentor … so it has all good reasons to be here

Easy to use packaging no brush required just dab dots on cheek bones and blend well to give that pinky pearly shine on your face or where you want , its easy to blend as it is in liquid form , doesn’t look patchy and stays on long for hrs without moving or fading

It comes in glass bottle with dow foot applicator .. not very hygienic though but good to have , easy to apply and you don’t need any brush for that extra effort , carry in your bag and you are good to go

Its a multi use product blends well and gives nice pinky sheen , although its not very much on pinker side , leaves nice shine to my face and looks amazing , would suit our Indian skin tone but on fair skin it would appear more pink IMO

And here is how it looks on me ,I have Clinique superbalanced foundation on face , benefit dallas blush and high beam highlighter

Highlighters DOES make lots of difference agree or not ?? Love using them and seriously can see the difference easily

Its a complete value for money and I will be picking this up in next SEPHORA Sale in April … Suits me perfectly and easy to handle and manage without any brush or tools , do try this out if you can or you can buy from Amazon too , the small travel size bottle is for $ 10 …

This is one of the best products out there. I really love it. Mine is full size and the applicator is like nail polish brush. You are right, it is perfect for us in India cause it saves the bother of a separate brow highlight colour, and can be used on any part of the face!! Great product, I thoroughly recomnend it!
Ps: What lipstick are you wearing, looks great!

Its very subtle and beautiful and like the fact that it does not cast a greyish cast on face and looks pretty. Some of the mass brands do make such product but they are disasters.

Its not bad to invest in this one..I have Estee Lauder Platinum Highlighting powder which is good too but cant find it so whenever i’d find it i’ll show it to u……………..

I discovered highlighters only recently and wore it for my b’day earlier this month… hubby was like, you are glowing! πŸ˜‰

this highlighter has a lovely pink colur rashmi and while your camer picks up the glow, it does not look as if you have applied anything… so natural looking!!

    Hi,

Please take a side picture so that the highlighter looks more pronounced…..in this pic i believe it just gave a soft sheen…….or maybe u need to apply some more so that the camera does not wash the color out….

Hi Rashmi!! Thank you so so much for this review!! I looked everywhere for a review about High Beam from someone with indian skin tone…don’t even know why I didn’t come here first!! Really love your blog! I read it all the time (so I thought it was time for me to leave a comment! lol)!
Thanks again for all your wonderful reviews!!

Hi Rashmi! I purchased a MAC Iridiscent powder (I told them I wanted a day time look and they sold me Belightful which, when in the sun is ridiculously glittery) so I’m going to go and swap it – I just dont know if I should swap it for an alternative highlighter or get something else like lip gloss and invest in Benefit’s High Beam?

I really want a highlighter though.. the cream review you did looked amazing but since I have oily skin, I think a powder based one would be best. Are you happy with any of the MAC powder highlighters that are shimmer not glitter?

    Thanks!
    Kristy
