Estee Lauder Pure Color Long Lasting Bitten Fig is part of their permanent line ( am pretty sure ) and I picked this shade from Sri Lanka duty free in a pack of three . The price is 1575/- INR , I paid around 1300/- but then I had to buy the color without trying or testing them .
Bitten Fig was part of their Limited Edition set last year and am so glad that after lusting over the shade for almost an year finally I have it . I do regret the other 2 shades in the pack as they were not that beautiful but this by far is the best Pure Color Long Lasting Lipstick I have seen .
Bitten Fig is deep berry red color with warm undertones , it has really subtle shimmer in it , the color will suit most of the skin tones . It glides beautifully on lips without settling in fine lines and doesn’t fade easily . The fragrance is almost like a fig and doesn’t irritate me .
Estee Lauder has the best formula of lipsticks in the market but again the 1.5 K price tag is not to be ignored . I do recommend trying the colors in store before shelling a whopping 1500/- INR , they have different finishes and are packed with pigments except for the Crystal range .

Great review as usual. Its a great color- what a nice orangey red. if only i could wear and carry off something like this.:P You are right EL’s pure color range is really pigmented and actually long lasting ! I have only one color-gifted to me from this range …whose label has come off so i don’t really remember the name..price too steep !

Its a brownish pink.Just becomes a pale pink on my dark pigmented lips though !:-)

why dont you try covering your lips with foundation or concealer and then layer the lipstick am sure you will rock the shade
